Drive-through coronavirus funerals: Pandemic leads to drive-through wakes; ‘You have to have an opportunity t… - Chicago Sun-Times

Rosemarie Santilli. On Wednesday, cars turned off of Milwaukee Avenue into the parking lot at Kolssak Funeral Home in Wheeling. They threaded through orange cones and lane-dividers to approach two of the funeral home’s rear windows. Behind the first window was the viewing parlor. Inside were chairs for Mrs. Santilli’s family and a microphone so they could communicate with the motorist-mourners. Another mic was set up outside the window for drivers to have two-way communication with her relatives. Then, visitors pulled up to a second window to view Mrs. Santilli, who died Sunday at 91. She was dressed in pink shades, matching the spray of flowers on her casket with a ribbon emblazoned: “Loving Mom, Grandma.” A mourner gets out of her vehicle to pay her respects at the drive-thru wake for Rosemarie Santilli, 91, at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Obituary for Rick Martin - Greeley Tribune

Kim enjoyed vacationing and spending time with their grandchildren. Rick enjoyed camping, hiking and fishing. He loved riding motorcycles, four-wheeling and off-roading, tinkering in his shop, and he loved technology and the newest and latest electronic gadgets. He loved flying his drone and RC airplanes. He loved painting and he was a gifted artist and also loved his dogs and his cat. Rick was an avid Broncos fan. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He loved Blackhawk and all-you-could-eat crab legs, also enjoying Vegas. He hated spiders (except his Can-Am Spyder). Rick was a prankster with his family and his co-workers. He loved playing practical jokes on everyone around him to get a smile, and he was a good sport when he was on the receiving end. He had a bright smile and an amazing outlook on life in spite of his cancer diagnosis. Rick is survived by his wife, Kim of Greeley; sons, Brandon (Brandee) Martin of Severance and Brady (Rainbow) Martin; daughters, Kaitlin and Makayla Martin of Fort Collins; step-son, Trevor Fritzler (fiancé Brianna Zimlich) of LaSalle; step-daughter, Amanda (Phillip) Stratton of Littleton; mother, Sue (Joe) Martin Hall of Red Feather; brother, Harvey Michael “Mick” (Charlene) Martin of Greeley; sister, Vickie (Todd) Taylor of Greeley; grandchildren, Carter and Charlee, Jordun and Penelope, Austyn and Evelyn Fritzler, Finn and Lira Stratton; brother, Scott Neale; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; father, Harvey Edward Martin in 1994; and maternal grandmother, Jewel Fay Klein in 2007. Life Celebration at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, at Journey Christian Church, 4754 W. 31st St., Greeley. Minnetrista kicks off summer with Garden Fair

Central High School Class of 1967 will have its 50th reunion Oct. 20-21. The cost will be $50 a person.
