Quantum Hydroponics Services presented by Quantum Flowers LTD - Health Europa

Showcasing my creation using herbs the unit entered the National Gardening Awards in association with UK Style TV at Olympia, one of London’s premier exhibition centres and scooping two awards for the best environmental conservation or wildlife product and best garden machinery or equipment. The judges were amazed at the individuality which originated from 8 different varieties all living in the same environment. Not having the good fortune to be herb farmer living in London, along with restrictions in the UK and not knowing the right people to explore Quantum’s applications for growing cannabis, I decided to shelve the project in 2007 and wait for a more favourable time. In December 2018 I discovered LinkedIn and the Legal Cannabis Group leading to the rebirth of the project. I decided to build a vacuum forming machine assuming that the troughs would be perfect, although I got a rude awakening. Going back to the drawing board and after some brainstorming, I eventually settled on using four-inch pipes. Firstly, it was two tubes with a stand, one end feeding into a nutrient tank and the other holding ten plants. This was presented to a few people but neve...

Charlene Rose Izzi - The Daily World

September 19. Charlene is survived by three children: Craig Izzi of Tillamook Oregon, Brian Izzi (Michelle Izzi) of Olympia, Washington and Heather Izzi-Decker(Mike Decker) of Puyallup Washington. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Jordan Izzi, 24, Morgan Izzi, 17 and Kaitlyn Izzi, 6. Charlene was such a loving, caring and giving person. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who her children and grandchildren adored. She loved her family and friends more than anything on this earth. She worked for the Hoquiam School District as a paraeducator for over 20 years and was an avid animal lover, volunteering for PAWS of Grays Harbor. She kept us all in stitches when she bust into uncontrollable laughing and snorting, cracking herself up with her own jokes. Charlene was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019, at 2 p.m. at the Light & Life Community Church in Hoquiam, Washington. Charlene’s wishes would be for people to donate to PAWS of Grays Harbor in lieu of sending flowers. Florist case reopens before Washington Supreme Court

Olympia, Wash., Nov 14, 2018 / 10:28 am (CNA/EWTN News).- Attorneys representing florist Barronelle Stutzman filed their opening brief with the Washington Supreme Court on Tuesday, as the court re-hears the case after its previous ruling was reversed. In June, the U.S. Supreme Court vacated a previous Washington state ruling against Stutzman, who in 2013 declined to make flower arrangements for a same-sex wedding. The U.S. Supreme Court sent the case back to the Washington Supreme Court, instructing that the case be reconsidered in the light of Masterpiece Cakeshop. In that decision, the U.S. Supreme Court sided with Christian cake baker Jack Phillips, who had declined to make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple. The Supreme Court ruled that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission had shown an impermissible hostility toward religion in their handling of the case. Stutzman's attorneys have argued that a similar hostility against religion was on display in the handling of Stuzman's case by...

Chocolatier creates flower-inspired dress made to eat for Chocolate Show

Chocolate, in Marine Terrace Mews in Kemp Town, Brighton, designed and made the flower-inspired dress for the Chocolate Show to be held at Kensington Olympia later this week. The design consists of a sculpted bodice, decorated with a combination of large and small discs of chocolate with digitally printed flowers in red, orange and pink. It has been finished off with gold leaf. It has been designed to be worn on the catwalk – but not for too long as it is likely to start melting. Ms Paxton used 800 of Paxton Chocolate’s delicate signature hand-made thin discs to decorate the figure-hugging, one-shoulder dress, which has a material underlay that was painted with chocolate. While it may seem an unusual move for a chocolatier to channel their talent into fashion, it is not the first time Paxton Chocolate has taken part. Ms Paxton said: “Last year we created a flapper-style dress for the fashion show, but this year we wanted to go for something that was really eye-catching and on trend. “For this dress, each of our thins will be hand-made and adorned with vibrant pictures of different flowers such as roses, daisies and nigella damascena. “The overall effect is really striking.” The dress took three weeks to create, with each thin made individually and stuck on using a heated spoon tech...
