Obituary: Angelo M. Gabriele, 72, Of Morrisville -

Obituary via J. Allen Hooper Funeral ChapelAngelo M. Gabriele, age 72 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 at his home. Born in Trenton, NJ, Angelo had been a lifelong Morrisville resident.Mr. Gabriele was a graduate of Morrisville High School, Class of 1965. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as a postal worker with the U.S. Post Office in the Yardley Branch for 41 years. Angelo was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, and was a member of the Knowles-Doyle American Legion Post # 317 in Yardley.Son of the late Leonard and Mildred (Taylor) Gabriele, and husband of the late Joyce (Cobb) Gabriele, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Leonard L. and Susan Gabriele of Morrisville, a stepdaughter Rebecca Farner of Falls Township, PA, and a nephew Michael L. Jeannette Lepine

Art Gallery for local artists to display and sell their artwork.In 1995, she spearheaded the community gardens that are located at the Oxbow Park in Morrisville.In her later years, Jeannette became active in the conservation movement of Vermont farmland as well as a major supporter of the Bishop John A. Marshall Catholic School.In her retirement, she and her sister Gert enjoyed kayaking their favorite ponds and took joy in the land that they helped preserve for generations to come.There was not much that Jeannette would hesitate to try, and often mastered. From building log cabins to making furniture or constructing a stone fireplace, Jeannette could do it all. Jeannette’s legacy can be found in the land she loved and the friendships she cultivated throughout her lifetime. She will be missed.Survivors include her brother Lawrence Lepine and sister Gertrude Lepine, as well as nieces and nephew Michele Van Wormer and husband David, Denise Krohn and husband Patrick, Maurice Lepine and Simone Lepine; and great-nieces and great-nephews.Her parents, Maurice and Imelda Lepine, died earlier, as did her siblings Marie (Othmar) Wallingar, Therese Lepine, and Andre (Geraldine) Lepine; niece Lisa Lepine; and sister-in-law Paulette Lepine.Burial will be at the convenience of the Lepine family at the Mountain View Cemetery in Morristown Corners.In lieu of flowers contributions in Jeannette’s memory can be made to Meals on Wheels, 24 Upper Main St., Morrisville, VT 05661.Faith Funeral Home is assisting the family. David C. Miller

Oneida, New York, the son of Roy and Eileen Miller. He grew up in Sherrill, NY, and attended and graduated from VVS High School and Morrisville State College. On August 6, 1989, he married the love of his life, Nita Voncarmen in Middlebury, Vermont. They spend the next 24 years having the time of their lives travelling, gardening, decorating their home, and sharing it all with their dear friends and family. Prior to his retirement, Dave was employed by Envirocare International as an engineer. He loved his career and the staff so much that after he officially retired, he soon went back to work with them on a consulting basis. David was predeceased by Nita in December 2013, and his father and mother in 2001 and 2005, respectively. He is survived by two brothers, Mike and Rick; sister Marsha Freeman; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. In the spring, Dave will be interred with Nita in the Bergala family plot in Novato, California. There will be a celebration of Dave’s life at the Blac-N-Bleu restaurant in Roseburg on Sunday, January 10, 2016, from 3-6.
