2 dead, 4 wounded in San Bernardino after weekend shootings

Saturday when a man was shot outside a San Bernardino City fire station. A man was shot outside the fire station No. 224 near E Street and Courtland Drive. The wounded man approached the rear of the station. Friefighters brought him inside, secured the doors and treated the victim, officials said. He was shot once in the arm. Police have not announced any arrests in this weekend’s shootings. Early Sunday morning, Douglas Rivas-Rauda, a 20-year-old U.S. Marine of Twentynine Palms, was killed in the parking lot of the Flesh Showgirls Club in the 100 block of West Hospitality Lane, according to San Bernardino County Coroner’s reports. The underage man was at the gentleman’s club with other Marines, according to reports. The club advertises it serves alcohol. About an hour before Ortiz was fatally shot Sunday evening, officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 300 block of South K Street, according to Eileen Hards, spokeswoman for the police department. Officers found a man with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg, she said. The only detail the victim reported was that the shooter rode off on a bicycle. About 30 minutes later, police were called to the 700 block of North H Street for another shooting, but they were not able to find any victims, officials said. A short time later, two gunshot victims arrived at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Both are expected to survive. Advertisement Few details were available in the H Street shooting.
