Kay Prestwich Pyne

She is also survived by her two sisters Leeann Garnett (Joe) Las Vegas, Nevada and Toni Lawton (Wendell) American Fork, Utah. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene, her son Brandon Busker, her granddaughter, Lindsey Busker, her sister Lynne Kerecman and her brothers Russell Prestwich and Lyle Prestwich. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 1:00 in the Orem Canyon View LOS Stake Center, 575 East 800 North in Orem. Family and friends may visit from 11:00–12:30 Friday, prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery following the services. Janet Anne Shelton Luke

Janet was born March 29, 1934 in Provo, Utah, the second eldest of Andrew Rowley Shelton and Esther Pulley Shelton. Janet graduated from American Fork High School in 1952 and went on to graduate from Utah State University in 1956 with a degree in Elementary Education. She was very active in college as a member of the marching band, a cheerleader, and a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. After graduation, she taught kindergarten in Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved children and they were drawn to her because of her unconditional love for them. Janet was a remarkable person and leaves a legacy to her posterity of her loving kindness and generosity. She enjoyed life and made many lifelong relationships. Janet was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She possessed a beautiful truth of faith in Jesus Christ and an unwavering set of principles that guided her path on this earth. She held many callings in the Church, spending many years serving in the Young Women’s Program. She especially enjoyed sharing her passion for dance, music, and theatre, and loved directing ward road shows. Janet enjoyed helping others, spreading joy and spending time with her children, her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We take abundant comfort in knowing there is one more angel above us. Ralph Murdoch

Ralph "Abe" Alexander Murdoch, 90, of Manti, UT, formerly of American Fork, UT, passed away on December 20, 2015 at his home. Ralph was born on October 18, 1925 in American Fork to Murray Alexander and Priscilla Pulley Murdoch. Ralph married Glenda Richins on August 4, 1950 in Pleasant Grove, UT and together had 5 Children. They later divorced. He married Susan Elizabeth Pixley on October 9, 1992 and had a daughter. Ralph was an avid outdoorsman and horseman his entire life. He enjoyed sports and was proud of being on a winning football team in 1942 that never allowed their opponent to score a single point. He served three years with the U.S. Marine Corps in the South Pacific during World War II, where he received the Purple Heart. He worked in the private sector in the mining and livestock industries and began working seasonally for the National Park Service in 1958 as a Laborer. He entered a permanent caretaker position at the Timpanogos Cave National Monument in 1963 and has held subsequent positions as maintenance man and maintenance foreman... (Daily Herald)
