Patricia Lankford

Park. The family will greet friends and relatives at a visitation on Sunday, January 31, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home, 1917 Archer City Highway. Patricia, a native of Moline, Illinois, was born February 22, 1935, to H. Raymond and Kristine (Karstens) Miller. After moving with her family to McAllen, Texas, she met and later married Glen Lankford on January 1, 1954. They had two children, Gregory and Linda. Through Glen's twenty-two year career in the Air Force, Patricia was given the opportunity to live and make friends all over the world. However, her greatest pleasure was her family, especially her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and three grandsons Jeffrey, Steven and Douglas Horridge. Patricia is survived by her husband of 62 years, Glen Lankford, her son Gregory and wife Pamela, and daughter Linda and husband Jerry Fulford. Other survivors include her grandchildren Duane Lankford, Diana Lankford, Kristine Moffett, Linda Kristine Perez, Doug Fulford, Brandy Ruark, Nick Fulford, and 12 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials in Patricia's honor be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls or the Wichita County Humane Society. Online condolences may be made at www.HamptonVaughanCrestview.com. (Times Record News)
