Eugene LeDonne | Obituary - Times-West Virginian

Eugene is survived by his wife, Marietta LeDonne; children, Eugene LeDonne and his wife Lisa of Summit, NJ, and Gina Dubbe and her husband Dean of Church Hill, MD; grandchildren, Dylan and Matthew LeDonne, and Ciara and Logan Dubbe; and a niece, Linda Shelosky. In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and Tony LeDonne. The family would like to give special thanks to Eugene's caretakers, Carol Pitts and Pauline Monell. The family would also like to thank a great neighbor, Ed Devito. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to a local food pantry. Funeral services will be held May 6 at 2 p.m. at the Universalist Church, Route 219, Main Street, West Sumner.WHITNEY — Linda H., 60, of Auburn, died Saturday, March 11. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held Sunday, April 9, at the Coolidge Family Farm, 1084 Lewiston Road, New Gloucester, from 3 to 5 p.m. Memorial donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Fairview School PTO, 397 Minot Ave., Auburn, ME 04210. Burial will be privately held in the spring at Oak Hill Cemetery, Auburn. The Pinette, Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home is assisting the Whitney family with their arrangements. (Lewiston Sun Journal)

CHURCH HILL—A conversation between Church Hill Intermediate School (CHIS) Principal Sherry Price’s mother and a Lowe’s associate last month led to a much greater than anticipated result for the school’s beautification recently. One of the associates struck up a conversation with Price’s mother at the West Kingsport Lowe’s store found out that the front of CHIS campus needed sprucing up before the school year began.
