Evelyn Flowers Brown

Freedom Outreach Baptist Church, Cassatt, S.C. Evelyn “Ebby” Brown passed away Monday, August 22, 2016. Born in Bishopville, she was a daughter of the late Edward Leroy and Evelyn Evans Flowers. Mrs. Brown was a member of Freedom Outreach Baptist Church. She worked as a set maker at Skyline and also in the printing business for over 20 years.  She enjoyed scrapbooking and taking care of her dogs.  Evelyn was a very caring person that was always willing to help others in any way she could. From giving family and friends a place to stay and helping them get back on their feet to cooking delicious meals to help out, their home had a revolving door with an open door policy. She went above and beyond in helping any and everybody. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Alfred Denny “Bud” Brown; a daughter, Sandy Ridley (Robert) of Camden; grandchildren, Amber Ridley and Austin Ridley; brothers, John Flowers (Phyllis), and Rev.
