Allison Ringle joined Fisher-Titus Family Medicine-Wakeman as a nurse practitioner. She will be joining Dr. Christina Canfield and nurse practitioner Amanda Horn. Ringle has experience as a registered nurse with Blossom Healthcare Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Willard and in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Toledo Children’s Hospital. A native of Willard, Allison completed the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Toledo. Prior to that, she earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Toledo. She has been working in health care since 2016. Ringle is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is looking forward to accepting new patients. Orange, yellow and brown flowers fill vases and line wreaths on display. Autumn has nearly arrived, and the students in the school’s floral design program are excited to create with the season’s colors. “I have found that if I allow the students to be creative, their own natural talents come out,” said Mary June Emerson, floral design and landscape instructor at MCCTC. The Flower Shop on MCCTC’s campus, 300 N. Palmyra Road, will be open for its fall open house through October. Hours at the student-run shop are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. The profits help the students pay for the National FFA Organization youth program competitions. The students have consistently placed high in floriculture and proudly display their awards on the walls of the room where they create. LINONIS linonis@vindy.com CANFIELD The friendship between Deanna Guerrieri and Sarah Moynihan flowered into the creative venture of My Beverly Jewelry. The best friends and business partners founded the jewelry-making enterprise as a tribute to an influential woman in their lives – the late Beverly Parry, Guerrieri’s grandmother by family ties, and Moynihan’s in her heart. “We think of her as our grandmother. She’s a big part of who we are,” Guerrieri said. “We carry a bit of her with us.” The My Beverly Jewelry brochure also credits Parry as the inspiration for the jewelry because of her “remarkable soul, loving ways and passion for God.” Guerrieri and Moynihan have been best friends since ninth-grade English class. “We’re like sisters,” Moynihan said. “Our friendship is super important to us,” Guerrieri said.
