Monroe County NY crime: Kittelberger Florist van stolen during delivery - Rochester Democrat and Chronicle

When the resident went outside, the men drove away. BROCKPORT Trespassing: On Jan. 6, a 17-year-old Brockport girl was arrested for trespassing. Officers didn't reveal where the alleged incident occurred. CHILI Petit larceny: Between Jan. 10 and 11, three vehicles parked on West Ham Circle were rummaged through. All of the vehicles were unlocked. Prescription medicines, an HP gold laptop, Bose headphones and loose change were taken. Grand larceny: Between Jan. 11 and 12, someone entered a gray 2018 Chevrolet Silverado by "unknown means" and stole a "scope lever action .44 magnum Marlin rifle," a Carhartt jacket and Burton winter boots from the vehicle's backseat. The victim was "adamant" that he locked his truck, but he discovered the passenger door open and ajar in the morning. GREECE Burglary: On Dec. 20, a woman reported that while she was sleeping in the bedroom of her apartment on Whitehouse Drive, someone removed the screen and opened the kitchen window. The suspect reached in and stole her purse from a table. Attempted robbery: On Dec. 22 in the 3800 block of West Ridge Road, the victim was threatened with a knife and then shot five times with a BB gun by people known to him. Criminal possession of a controlled substance: On Dec. 22 during a traffic stop at Rumson and Marwood roads, a driver was found to be in possession of four ounces of cocaine and a scale with residue. He was also charged with intent to sell. The Greater Rochester Area Narcotics Enforcement Team assisted. Criminal tampering: On Dec. 24, someone turned a Rochester Gas and Electric Corp. power switch off. That caused a power outage in the area of Mt. Read Boulevard. Criminal mischief: On Dec. 26, someone slashed four vehicle tires and carved an expletive into the victim's rental car on Affinity Lane. Menacing: On Dec. 27, a man said that while delivering pizzas at the Glenora Gardens apartment complex, a man in a tan van pointed...

Raymond C. 'Bernie' Potter

Robert (Kathy) Potter of Clifton Park, Louise (Joseph) Thompson of Howard, Colorado, Thomas Potter of Chestertown, Susan (James) Beck of Brockport, Rebecca Potter of Fort Pierce, Florida and Richard Potter of Watervliet; his aunt, Constance (Potter) Jenks of Paradox; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of life will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at Edward L. Kelly Funeral Home, 1019 US Route 9, Schroon Lake, NY. Donald K. Anderson

Brownville Methodist Church. Mr. Anderson worked for Eastman Kodak Co. in Rochester for a couple of years before attending SUNY Brockport. Following school he received various certificates and licenses in the insurance field and worked for several local insurance companies. He retired from North Country Insurance Co. as the manager of the Adjusting Department in 2000. Following his retirement he assisted his wife with the operations of her business A1 Designs formerly known as Jefferson Fire Equipment and Alpha Embroidery. He also worked at the Evans Mills Wal-Mart, Stream and Convergys in Watertown. He was an inactive member of the Adams Center Fire Department and former member of the Dexter and Felts Mills Fire Departments. He was a member of the Lewis County Fire Police Association and Volunteer Fire Police Association of the State of New York. He enjoyed spending time with his family and fixing cars. Among his survivors are his loving wife, Patsy C. Anderson, Watertown; two sons and their wives, Kenneth L. and Wanda E. Anderson, Watertown, Keith and Christina M. Anderson, Felts Mills; two grand children and their spouses, Kenneth L. Anderson Jr. and Brianne, Anna M. Roberts and Aaron; four great grand children, Daphne E. Anderson, Aaron M. Anderson, Trenton L. Anderson Leila Roberts; a brother and sister in law, Robert and Sally Anderson, Victor, NY; two sisters in law, Betty Anderson, Kentucky, Helen Ann Anderson, NC; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister in law, George E. and wife Marlyn and J. Steven Anderson passed before him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local fire department or charity of one’s choice. Curtis, 28, grew up in a floral design family in Genesee County and attended floral design school in Manhattan. He has worked in many cities, including New York, Syracuse, Ithaca and Rochester and that eclectic background has influenced his unique style. "I love to design and I have a broad range of design," said Curtis, who specializes in weddings and events.
