Karen Hannis Meinhart Obituary - Mt. Holly Springs, PA | Cumberlink Sentinel - Legacy.com

Lauren Meinhart of Oslo, Norway; her son, David Meinhart, of Philadelphia; and five siblings: Jeanine Johnson of Emmaus, Sheila Mangano of Clifton, Virginia, Steven Hannis of Easton, Brian Hannis of Naples, Florida, and Kelly Cuetara of Downingtown. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Hannis, of Santa Rosa, California. She will be remembered as a selfless and caring mother, wife, and friend, as well as an unmatched home cook and Christmas cookie virtuoso, who filled the house with her wonderful singing. She was an aficionado of Broadway musicals and art museums; an avid reader of news and current events; and a dog lover, among the many passions that she passed to her loved ones. Karen will be laid to rest in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery following a service that will remain private due to COVID-19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to World Central Kitchen (wck.org), a non-profit organization she admired that believes in the power of food to unite people, just like she did. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs, PA. Please visit www.HollingerFuneralHome.com to offer condolences to the family. Beautiful antiques, collectables and flower shop opens in Old Market - Bristol Post

Berlin." After completing the four-week course at the highly-rated flower school last year, Ellen picked up experience at Clifton Flowers alongside running workshops for Google, Pashley and private clients, before deciding to go solo and launch her own business. Inside Pretty Wild (Image: James Beck/Freelance) She then researched various areas of Bristol to see where would be the best fit for her business and settled on Old Market. "There's an incredible community feel in Old Market and everyone has been so welcoming," she added. "I was able to get the shop up and running in just eight days thanks to the help of some lovely people. "The antiques and collectibles I stock are from Phil at Bristol Vintage just across the road and I've been incredibly lucky to have the support of the street and all the independent traders, in particular the women at Jokoto, Russ in Bike Maker next door, Old Market Plants and Steve from the incredible guitar shop down the way. Read More Old Market "He spotted a piece of wood going nowhere so brought it in to me, it's now hanging centre stage in the shop. I have to say, it's been a really heartwarming experience. Opinion: Why are you killing the pretty yellow flowers?

CLICK with and she is one of those children.Claudia Reilly has formed a bond with her young neighbor, Hana (pictured), whose family moved to Clifton from Syria more than a decade ago. (Photo: Provided)Her parents are from Syria. I thought about the bombing Friday night and felt so glad that she is here, not in Syria. Felt glad that our country managed to make air strikes that didn't kill anyone, but also thought how terrible war is and how all of us, everywhere, like each other and are human and humane when we talk to each other, and that it is awful how a beautiful country gets destroyed.I watched her shyly ride her scooter over to my driveway. When I was little, a man who seemed ancient to me but was probably around the age I am now used to talk to me, and the first thing he said to me was, "Have you ever wondered if I'd kill you if you tried to walk on my lawn, Cynthia?""My name's Claudia," I told him."Well, I decided your name's Cynthia, and I'm too old to switch what I call you."I remember it made me laugh, and he and I became friends. He would recommend books I should read, and he'd give me Band-Aids when I fell off my bike. He played chess with me one day when I was crying because my mom's boyfriend wouldn't let me in my house. I finally learned he'd been a school principal. What to say to this girl?I called out, "In my backyard, I have a swing set and a slide. You can play back there any time you want and bring your friends."She ran into the backyard as I went on digging up dandelions. After a time, I noticed she was back, staring at me confused."Do you mind me asking you why you are killing the pretty yellow flowers?" she asked.I looked down at the dandelions. My face turned red. I remembered being young and loving dandelions. I loved blowing the white seeds in the air. I loved making bouquets of the yellow flowers and putting them in jelly jars for my mom.I said, "The...
