Leola "Lee" Levasseur

Leola is predeceased by her brother Timothy Michaud of Van Buren. She is survived by her brother Phillip R. Michaud of Belle Meade, N.J. and her sister Lorraine (Michaud) Fournier Thayer of S. Yarmouth, Mass. Leola married Daniel Levasseur, they eventually re-settled to their hometown of Van Buren where they worked and lived until their move to Brewster, Mass. Leola and Daniel raised four children. Daniel worked at several local auto body shops until he opened his own shop. Leola also worked outside the home as time allowed selling Avon products and eventually working as office staff and bookkeeper for All Cape Plumbing in S. Yarmouth, Mass. When that business closed, she worked part time for other local businesses as bookkeeper and secretary until she was hired by the Brewster Water Department where she worked for 22 years as assistant clerk. Upon her retirement, she spent her time doting on her grandchildren and spending hours tending to her flowers and yard work. Leola was predeceased by her husband Daniel in 1997. She is survived by her four children, Patrick of Auburn, Gregory and his wife Mary of Brewster, Mass., Dominic and his wife Leah of Sammamish, Wash. and Pamela Barrio and her husband Dennis of Plymouth, Mass.; her brother...
