She had worked in Shelton deburring airplane parts and also at the Shelton School District offices. A private interment will take place at Shelton Memorial Park. She was born on Aug. 22, 1952, in Aberdeen to Delbert Eugene and Norma Jean (Ask) Finch. Kathy and Fred owned and operated Fred’s Auto Body in Hoquiam. Charlene Rose Izzi - The Daily World

Dec. 9, 2019 at Montesano Rehabilitation Center in Montesano, Washington. She was born to the late Milton and Marlys Bruneau, Feb. 17, 1953, in Aberdeen, Washington. Charlene graduated from Hoquiam High School in 1971. She was married to John Izzi in 1971. They recently celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on September 19. Charlene is survived by three children: Craig Izzi of Tillamook Oregon, Brian Izzi (Michelle Izzi) of Olympia, Washington and Heather Izzi-Decker(Mike Decker) of Puyallup Washington. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Jordan Izzi, 24, Morgan Izzi, 17 and Kaitlyn Izzi, 6. Charlene was such a loving, caring and giving person. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who her children and grandchildren adored. She loved her family and friends more than anything on this earth. She worked for the Hoquiam School District as a paraeducator for over 20 years and was an avid animal lover, volunteering for PAWS of Grays Harbor. She kept us all in stitches when she bust into uncontrollable laughing and snorting, cracking herself up with her own jokes. Japanese Artist Mariko Maita Creates Unique Art from Pressed Flowers - GraysHarborTalk

She has exhibited pieces at the Grays Harbor Community Hospital Healing Gallery and has greeting cards for sale at Harbor Blooms, Aberdeen. Mariko is also a member of the new Riverside Gallery in South Bend which opened four months ago. The Maita children are artistic, too. Son Sidney enjoys detailed work using pen and ink. Daughter Christine draws and illustrates books. On the porch, some beautiful bonsai are displayed. They filled Mariko's creative need in the years she was working. Among them is a 30-year-old pine.
