Health. He had been a director of the Neighborhood House, YMCA, the Cayuga County Arts Council, and the Kiwanis Club. He was a deacon and elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Board of Trustees of both Auburn Memorial (Community) Hospital and the former Mercy Hospital. He was a long time member of the Owasco Country Club. He is a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He had been a Director of the Cayuga County Community College Foundation and the Cayuga County Community Services Board. He had many interests - sailing, skiing, gardening, bicycling, genealogy, and finally, collecting medical, pharmaceutical, and dental antiques. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Joanne Philbrook Foresman, and by a son, William H. Foresman, M.D. (Judy). He is survived by three children: Jeffrey S., Pamela L. Foresman Brundage (Brian), and Robert M. (Ludmila); and by 10 grandchildren: Katherine, Claire, Parker, Henry, Jaden, Anastasia, Alesia, Abigail, Alexander, and John; and a great grandson, Atticus. There will be no calling hours and a private ceremony will be held by the family. Marilyn had moved some 23 times. But thanks to the help she received from her family, as well as from her gardening friend, Trish Hann, and the Westminster Canterbury Hospice at Home team, she was able to live out the last 50 years of her life in her home.
Marilyn was buried Wednesday, July 29, in Princess Ann Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to the Nature Conservancy, the Gary Sinise Foundation or Operation Blessing.

Her display started as a small stall of 25 plants by the sidewalk. But in its 15 years, it has become one of the biggest booths at the Westminster festival, with the display of hundreds of orchids stretching for yards.
Every January, thousands walk by Nguyen’s booth and others’, buying orchids in hopes of bringing good fortune in the year to come. It is a tradition of the Vietnamese Lunar New Year celebration, which falls on Jan. 25 this year.

Len and his wife travelled and performed in Greenwich Choral Society concerts at Christ Church, Oxford; Winchester Cathedral; Westminster Abbey; the Cathedral at Chartres; the Madeleine, and Notre Dame.In Boca Grande he enjoyed singing with the Barbershop Chorus, Bocapella, the Boca Grande Chorale, and the St. Andrew's Church Choir, and he performed in many musical show productions, including Godspell, Mame, and Guys and Dolls, during eighteen years of warm winter months.The entire family has wonderful memories of skiing trips to Europe, Canada and throughout the United States when the children were younger. In later years Yanna and Len played golf at Greenwich Country Club and Lemon Bay Golf Club, with vacations at many world famous golf courses, among which are Pebble Beach, Sea Island, Pinehurst and St. Andrew's.Len is survived by his wife, Yanna, his daughter Allison Saari Byrne and her husband, Josh, his sister, Shirley Doak, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased in 2012 by his daughter Karina.A memorial service is planned for Saturday, November 16, at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Greenwich, 106 Sound Beach Avenue, Old Greenwich, CT.
