Westborough – Charles W. Decker, 84, of Westborough, formerly of Marlborough and Dennis, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly L. (Sears Foster) Decker.
Charles was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late Conrad and Ida (Magee) Decker. He was raised in the Bronx area of New York and joined the U.S. Marine Corps at age 16, serving his country distinguishably in the Korean War. He also served in the Massachusetts National Guard. He was a longtime Marlboro police officer until his retirement in 1985.
He resided in Marlborough for many years, and following his retirement, spent 17 years in Dennis, Cape Cod. He has resided in Westborough since September 2015. He was a member and past President of the Marlborough Police Patrolman’s Union and member of the Trinity Church in Bolton.

Westborough – James R. DiProfio, 81, of Westborough, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 1, 2016 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Framingham, he was the son of the late Silvio and Isabel (Dufault) DiProfio. He was educated in Westborough schools and was a graduate of Westborough High School. He also attended and graduated from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Jim was employed as a certified public accountant for Bay State Abrasives for many years prior to his retirement.
He was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church and was a talented musician, making a recording with the Cedar Swamp Seven. He also volunteered for many years at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Westborough – E. Evelyn (Stanford) Arnold, 88, a lifelong resident of Westborough, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 after an illness. She was the beloved wife of Zane H. Arnold. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last October.
Evelyn was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Alice L. (Stanford) Haven. She was raised in Westborough by her grandparents, Frank and Emma (Johnson) Stanford. She was a 1945 graduate of Westborough High School, where she played varsity basketball.
Evelyn, and her husband Zane, with the help of their sons, owned and operated Arnold’s Orchard on Spring Road for 50 years. At one time, she sang in the choir of the the Congregational Church of Westborough and the Westborough Community Chorus.

Westborough – Pamela A. Pinto passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at home surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She loved deeply and lived her life with passion. She lost the love of her life, Stephen R. Prescott, eight years prior.
Pam is survived by her four children, Tina M. Christopher and her partner Paul King of Medway, William H. Vorce and his wife Melissa of Millbury, Albert V. Pinto of Millbury, and Stephen J. Prescott of Maynard. She is also survived by her siblings, Clement J. Truitt of New York and Dr. Esther M. Truitt of Georgia. She had four grandchildren, William and Makayla Vorce and Topher and Royce King.
For the majority of her life, she raised her family and worked as a real estate broker in Westborough, most recently at Carrington Real Estate.

Born in Leominster, he was raised and educated in Westborough, and was a 1999 graduate of Westborough High School.
Shaun was employed as an auto mechanic, and enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, cars, camping and the New England Patriots.
Shaun is survived by his father and step-mother, Mark M. and Ruth (Bean) Spaulding of Westborough; his mother, Pamela (Rocheleau) Costa and her husband James of Venice, Fla.; his siblings, Courtney Spaulding of Leominster, Mark Spaulding Jr. of Westborough, and Taylor Spaulding of Westborough; two step-sisters, Jamie Costa of Leominster and Megan Hecht of Barrington, R.I.; his grandmothers, Barbara Rocheleau of Leominster and Ruth Bean of Westborough; his longtime girlfriend, Laurie Parmalee of Worcester; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
