Plant and bake sale raises $2400 for library

We have so many people to thank. For starters, we would especially like to thank Steve’s Tree Service of Byfield for being our sponsor this year. Your financial support was crucial to our success and we thank you for your outstanding community spirit. We also had many individual members of our community donate baked goods and all those home-baked creations were delicious. Additionally, we had lovely professionally baked items donated by Mandarava’s, Dianne’s Fine Desserts, Buttermilk Baking Company and Chococoa, all of Newburyport, as well as from Old Town Bread Co. of Rowley. She was also extremely helpful organizing and pricing all our plants the day before the event and was on hand to provide answers to customers’ questions and share her expertise on the day of the sale. We are so very grateful for all her efforts on behalf of our library. To all who took the time to dig in their gardens and drop off pots and potted plants to us, we appreciate your help. It truly was a shared effort. Our sincere than... (The Daily News of Newburyport)
