Jimmy Bardwell

Jimmy Bardwell, 93, of Wichita Falls passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Crestview Memorial Park. Jimmy was born on February 20, 1922 in Sweetwater, Texas to David and Hazel Flinn Bardwell. He married Winnie Smauley on March 23, 1949 in Sweetwater, Texas and she preceded him in death in 2013. He was a retired hotel owner and operator, member of the Kiwanis Club, and an avid bowler. He was a veteran of World War 2, serving in the US Army Air Corp. He was also preceded in death by his brothers: Weldon, Leland, and Carl Bardwell and sister: Della Clark. He is survived by numerous family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls. (Times Record News)
