Perkins, 77, of Henrietta, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2016 in the Center Point Cemetery in Montague County, Texas, with Rev. Ricky Curr of Forestburg, Texas, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.
Mr. Perkins was born on April 15, 1939 in Birch River, West Virginia to Robert E and Ollie (Gibin) Perkins. He married Joy (Dickerson) on January 17, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. Perkins served his county in the US Air Force where he retired after 20 years of service. He has a love for music and played a guitar.
Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife Joy Perkins of Henrietta, Texas; son, Erin Perkins and wife Shannon of Henrietta, Texas; daughter, Leslie Brahmbhatt and husband, Tilak of Houston, Texas; three grandsons, Aiden, Nanden and Eshan; three sisters.
The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas at PO Box 4804, Wichita Falls, Texas 76308.

Night of Praise". The event will be held at 6 p.m. on May 15th at the Church located at 3456 East State Road 42, Center Point. Ron Bridgewater, native of Brazil and currently the senior minister at East Columbus Christian Church, Columbus, will provide the worship leadership. The Church invites everyone to be part of this uplifting and inspirational evening. A fellowship time with desserts will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

Bee Ridge Church
Bee Ridge Church is located 1 1/2 miles north on Kennedy Crossing Road. We are the brick church on the top of the hill. Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:15 a.m. Worship Service and Children's Church begins at 10:30 a.m.

Dec 30, 2015Artists look 'Through the Trees' at Gallery 48
His murrine pieces are the center point of this series. Each slice of murrine serves to highlight one of nature’s footprints, marking the passage of time and a glimpse of history, the rings of life in a felled tree.
“Over time, what was once a simple love of nature has now matured into an idea that has a story to be told,” Bensen said.
Bensen has taught at San Jose State University, Palo Alto High School, Bay Area Glass Institute and Public Glass. Bensen attended Pilchuck Glass School in Washington and was a teaching assistant at Corning in New York. His work has been juried into numerous museum exhibitions, such as the San Francisco Airport Museums, Alexandria Museum of Art (Louisiana), Oakland Museum of California and the Oakland Airport. Bensen’s work is also held in many private collections.
In the adjacent Community Gallery at 48 Natoma, an exhibit of amazing local bird and nature photography from 18 members of FolPho Photographers will be on display, Jan. 14 through March 3.
The Gallery at 48 Natoma is located at 48 Natoma Street in the Folsom Civic Center next to City Hall and is managed by the Folsom Parks and Recreation Department. The gallery showcases art by regional and national professional artists, area museum collections and traveling exhibitions and offers high quality original art exhibits to the community that may otherwise not be experienced in this area.
The gallery is free and open to the public and art is available for purchase. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with additional hours Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. Free tours can be arranged by appointment.
