Avoid Sanibel traffic backups with these tips
If you plan a trip to Sanibel Island over the next couple of months, there are a few tips that will make it more enjoyable. The beautiful weather this time of year draws locals, snowbirds and visitors to the island and let's face it, no one likes to sit in traffic. The City of Sanibel has provided some tips for avoiding backups during season:
Avoid peak traffic times: Inbound traffic between the hours of 8 a.m. to noon and outbound traffic between 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday traffic volumes are the highest, and traffic volumes are the lightest on Sundays and Tuesdays.
You might also plan to travel around the island by foot and bike. It's fun and you can avoid the traffic.
Check the City of Sanibel website for traffic updates and more tips at www.MySanibel.com.

Taking her inspiration from the grand kitchen gardens of France, borrowing the elements of beauty and dependence on the garden for seasonal food and flowers, Jennifer designs gardens that contain walls, gates, patios, walkways, trellises, gazebos, greenhouses, potting sheds and plants that attract beneficial insects, birds, bees and butterflies.
They are perfect havens in which to live a lifestyle that is built around ... (Boca Beacon)
