Jim Christmann, his grandson Peter Keffer-Fries and granddaughter Stephanie Kay Bennett. He leaves his siblings and their spouses, Dorinda and Don Moffatt of Vero Beach, FL and John and Sandy Costello of Bradenton, FL. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 140 Main Street in Lee, MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, 208 Spring Street in Lee. Visiting hours will be on Monday, August 5th, from 4-6 PM at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main Street in Lee. There will be a Memorial Service for Fred at a date to be determined in Bonita Springs Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred's memory may be made to the "James V. Feb 3, 2016ROUNDUP: The Woodlands tops Kingwood in District 16-6A
Tre Flowers had a game-high 19 points to lead A&M Consolidated (6-1 in district play).
Magnolia 48, Waller 47
Jackson Moffatt hit a 3 from the corner at the buzzer for a critical District 19-5A win for the Bulldogs (8-12, 3-4).
Magnolia travels to Tomball Jan. 26 to begin the second round of district games.
Brenham 55, Magnolia West 49
The Mustangs played the District 19-5A first-place Cubs tough but came up short. Brenham led just by three at halftime and by one after three quarters.
Magnolia West was led by Chris Lynch with 15 points, Colin Just with 12 and DJ Wilkinson with eight. The Mustangs are 1-6 in district play.
Summer Creek 63, Oak Ridge 59
The War Eagles came out on the wrong side of an evenly played District 16-6A game.
Tyler Dawson netted a team-high 23 points for Oak Ridge (7-17, 0-6) while Darius Love added 20.
Klein 45, Montgomery 31
Phillip Dinning led the Bears with 11 points. Montgomery remains winless in District 15-6A at 0-7.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
Conroe 50, College Park 29
Senior forward Jordan Allen led the way for the Tigerettes with 15 points, as Conroe continued to dominate District 16-6A.
The Tigerettes (18-10, 7-1) also got 14 points from junior guard Maya Grant.
College Park (7-13, 3-5) was led by junior center Jasmine Atobajeun with eight points.
Next, the Lady Cavaliers will play host to Atascocita and Conroe will play at The Woodlands on Tuesday.
The Woodlands 41, Kingwood 29
Payton Walker had a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds as the Lady Highlanders evened up their District 16-6A record at 4-4. Julia Glandt added 11 points for The Woodlands (13-13 overall) while Meghan Musso had seven points.
Magnolia 52, Waller 37
Senior Hannah Coyle led the Lady Bulldogs to a District 19-5A victory with 15 points and seven rebounds. Katie Dalton and Lexi Bearden each had 10 points and six rebounds as the Lady Bulldogs improve to 13-10 over and remain tied for first place in district play at 8-1.
Montgomery 31, Klein 29
The Lady Bears entered a big District 15-6A win as they hung on to the lead throughout the fourth quarter with a 6-for-7 effort from the line.
Veronica Thayer led Montgomery (4-5 in district play) with 15 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Da’Trinique Jones had seven points and a season-high 16 rebounds. Mallory Talbert had 11 rebounds and three steals to go along with two points.
