Hyatt, Gordon Fenwick, (Jan. 29, 2016)

Laura & Trent Maciborski of Sherwood Park, AB; Benjamin & Houghton Hyatt of Montecito, CA; Matthew & Tomoko Hyatt of Tokyo, Japan; and Julie & Andrew Hore of Edmonton, AB. He was a proud and loving grandpa to Tianna, Tasia, Asher, Addison, Jackson, Jacob and Riley. He is survived by his beloved siblings David & Kathy Hyatt and Wanda Hyatt, and by his many cherished nieces and nephews. Despite numerous physical hardships, Gordon never lost his sense of humour and will always be remembered for his quick wit and his ability to make those around him laugh. His heart was bigger than life, and his thoughtful ways touched those who knew him. A memorial service to celebrate Gordon’s life will take place on Saturday February 6, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the NEEDHAM-JAY FUNERAL HOME, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia. A reception will take place following the service. Cremation has taken place. Come wearing bright colours in honour of Gordon, and be prepared to share a laugh or two – that is how he would have wanted us to remember him! In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sarnia-Lambton Humane Society (www.sarniahumanesociety.com) in honour of Gordon’s love of animals.
