Larry is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Rolinda (Ianucci) Rhodes; children Larry Jr. (Jennifer) Rhodes, Victoria Wilkinson, Rachel Rhodes (Michael Williams) and Roland Sr. (Stacey) Rhodes; seven grandchildren; a brother, William (Marge) Rhodes; and sisters Myrtle Marie Nalbach and Jennie (Norman) Foertch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepmother MaryAnne Rhodes; brothers Harry Rhodes III and Robert Rhodes Sr.; and a sister, Ruth Ester McElwee.
Larry will be laid to rest with a private ceremony at All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta with full Military Honors

When a corpse flower was first displayed at the Kew Royal Botanic Gardens in the late 19th century, at least one Victorian woman was said to have swooned when she got a whiff of the bloom.
The flower was first displayed in the United States in 1937 at the New York Botanical Garden.

Katlyn (Michael) Rose, Branden (Jen) Slayden, Christopher (Heather) Dixon, Danielle (Jon) LeMay, Demi Youngberg, Nikki Lungwitz, Ryan (Tori) Warren, Victoria (John) Miller, and Tabitha (Nathan) Todd; 17 great-grandchildren; Kaylyn, Madison, Dakota, Avery, Paige, Reed, Nichole, Dylan, Tucker, Lilly, Tyler, Logan, William, Graham, Sawyer, Kalin, Charlotte, and Baby P III on the way; her first husband, Robert “Dick” Warren of Wood River; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Mika Ory; and her mother and father-in-law, Florence Helen and Earl Schmitt.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 5, 2021, from 10 am until time of service at 11:30 am, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO at 1:15 pm. Pastor Terry McKenzie will officiate.
Memorials may be made to The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and/or The American Cancer Society.
