Expect breezy weather through Friday in Phoenix area

The easterly breezes were the result of high pressure developing over the Rockies, according to James Sawtelle, National Weather Service meteorologist. MORE WEATHER COVERAGE Sunny skies were expected through Saturday, with high temperatures expected to reach 95 Thursday with a low Thursday night of 70, Sawtelle said. Friday's forecast calls for a high of 97 and a low of 70, and Saturday's forecast calls for a high of 95 and a low of 68, Sawtelle said.
