Sonya M. Ambrose

Sonya M. Ambrose of South Bethany, Del., died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del. She was born in Mahanoy, Pa., the youngest daughter among the eight children of the late Very Rev. Basil J. Macknik and Mary (Tokay) Macknik.Ambrose retired from work as an executive secretary at Hercules. She was a loving aunt who always found time for her nieces and nephews when they sought her out, which was often. She was known for her sharp-witted sense of humor and thoughtful, practical advice. Ambrose was always fun to be around and hosted many wonderful parties for family and friends. In her youth, she was a beautiful and talented Ukrainian folk-dancer. She will be remembered for her love of music, fine gourmet cooking and elegant gardening at her beloved South Bethany beach house, and as her husband's faithful traveling, boating and fishing companion. In addition to her parents, Ambrose was preceded in death by her brothers Tom and Ted, and her sisters, Ann, Olaine, Mary and Evelyn. Ambrose is survived by her husband, Kenneth W. Kevin T. Craft, Acme Markets employee

Kevin T. Craft of Milford passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes of a massive heart attack. He was the son of Mary Ethel Morgan Craft and the late Thomas Craft. He was born in Milford and started working for Acme Markets at the age of 15. Prior to his death, he worked for Acme Markets for 37 years. He loved bowling and NASCAR and was a Dale Earnhardt fan. Kevin was always willing to help anyone, and that was why he was loved by so many. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 25 years, Michele Ellingsworth Craft of Milford; two sons, Kolby and Austin Craft; four brothers, Thomas Jr. and wife Rebecca of Milford, Ronald and wife Ann of Nebraska, Darryl of Milford, and Randall and wife Debbie of Milton; brother-in-law, William D. Ellingsworth and wife Kelly of Rehoboth; sister-in-law, Dana McKenzie and husband John of Milford; several nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed.
