These Local Gift Stores Sell What?!

Here are some fabulous local gift stores that also sell great clothes: Blooms by Essential Details 111 W. Main St., Ste. A, La Grange • (502) 222-1626Hours: Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Closed Sunday Blooms is a florist right? Well, yes, and this La Grange treasure also sells gifts, jewelry, clothes, socks, boots and beauty products. The list could go on and on. Blooms says not one day has gone by that they have not sold a piece of jewelry. Its other best seller is the long-sleeve jersey tee with “Everyone Loves a Southern Girl” on it, and after feeling how soft they are, you’ll see why. They have more than seven racks of clothing, with tops, dresses, outerwear, scarves and basics, such as socks and gloves. Don’t miss their adorable (and affordable!) selection of boots placed throughout the store. The best-selling jersey T-shirt, Lulubelle’s jewelry, boots and a great outfit, all at Blooms Urban Farmhouse Market 2830 Frankfort Ave., Louisville • (502) 384-5434Hours: Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Urban Farmhouse Market got into the business of selling clothes in August of this year. They have always had their T-shirt line, “Southern Girls Wear Boots and Pearls,” and they started slowly incorporating more accessories. Now, an entire nook in the back of the store is devoted to clothes. They sell a little bit of everything: scarves, vests, tops, dresses, sweaters, belts and basics, such as leggings and camisoles. This season, their most popular item is fur vests. When asked why they started carrying... (StyleBlueprint (blog))

La Grange florist sees plenty of room for growth

La Grange Park resident Kim Lesher stumbled upon floral design quite by accident. But it's a talent she's cultivated to launch a second floral and gift shop in La Grange after 18 successful years in Evanston. Lesher said she opened Bloom 3 La Grange in December at 104 W.
